How big are all the app stores?
The different stores that sell apps are a big deal. In one example, Apple's iPhone App Store now showcases 100,000 applications regularly downloaded by 50 million iPhone and iTouch owners worldwide. iPhone users download approximately 10 new apps each month, while iPod touch owners download an average of 18. Apple says approximately 2 billion apps have been downloaded from the App Store in just a little over a year.
